1 Scope

1.1 This Outline covers wires or cables inserted in an extruded, flexible, polymeric, tubular cable support. The system is used to route cables or tubes in industrial cleanroom equipment such as in semiconductor, microelectronics, and display panel production industries. The system is rated 50, 60, 75, 90, 105, 125, 150, 180, or 200 °C. The tubular cable support may also include a flexible polymeric chain to provide additional support and uniformity of the profile during motion.

1.2 The Tubular Cable Support System is intended to facilitate the removal and replacement of cables or tubes installed therein.

1.3 Included wires or cables, connectors provided at the end of the cables, inserted tubes, and means of mounting the polymeric Tubular Cable Support System to the industrial clean-room equipment have not been evaluated as part of this outline.

1.4 The flammability of the Tubular Cable Support System has not been evaluated.

1.5 The Tubular Cable Support System material does not provide insulating properties.
