This revision to ANSI/UL 935 includes the following changes in requirements:

• Add requirements for ballasts intended to be dimmed using solid-state dimming controls electrically wired in series with the mains supply

• Revise the arcing test method in Section 30

• Update reference in paragraph 15.10 to Standard for Capacitors and Suppressors for Radio- and Television-Type Appliances, UL 1414, withdrawn and replaced by the Standard for Fixed Capacitors for Use in Electronic Equipment - Part 14: Sectional Specification: Fixed Capacitors for Electromagnetic Interference Suppression and Connection to the Supply Mains, UL 60384-14
