This Guide covers the test requirements for hardware intended for use on fire doors and emergency exits for swinging
and sliding doors. These requirements shall pertain to both fire protection and panic features. This Guide does not
cover non-essentials such as push plates, pullhandles, protective plates, plant-ons, etc.
