1. This proposed Ninth Edition of the Standard for Safety for Electrical Quick-Connect Terminals, UL 310, includes the following major changes: (a) Crimp Pull Out Test Method - Proposal to Revise 6.3.5; (b) Crimp Pull Out Test Method - Proposal to Revise 6.3.2; (c) Correction to the Standard; (d) Correction of Table 1 Dimensions; (e) Clarification of the Construction Requirements in Clauses 5.1.2 and 5.1.3 ; (f) Update of Dated References to Standards; (g) Clarification of Clauses 6.2.3 and 6.2.4; (h) Clarification of Figure 5 and Correction of Heat Cycling to Current Cycling; (i) Clarification to Tables 2 and 3; (j) Addition of Tinned Conductors to Table 7; (k) Inclusion of 24 - 26 AWG Wire Sizes; (l) Deletion of E2 Dimension for Positioning of Detent and Revision to Figure 2; (m) Use of Other Platings and Materials; (n) Temperature and Current Cycling Test for Multiple Conductors; (o) Correct Error on Table 5 - Created During Re-format to Latest Edition; (p) Missing Dimensions on Figure 6 - Editorial Correction
