The following changes in requirements to the Standard for Motor-Operated Air Compressors, Vacuum Pumps, and Painting Equipment, UL 1450, are being proposed for preliminary review and comment only:

1. For Preliminary Review Only: Clarification of the Probe Title for Figure 12.2.

2. For Preliminary Review Only: Addition of an Exception to Paragraph 27.4 to Clarify Printed Wiring Board Spacings.

3. For Preliminary Review Only: Deletion of the Specification for Cheesecloth from the Standard.

4. For Preliminary Review Only: Correction of Paragraph 46.1.7 by Removing the Reference to Inflators.

5. For Preliminary Review Only: Addition of an Allowance for DC Use During Production Line Dielectric Testing.

6. For Preliminary Review Only: Addition of a Specific Reference to Inflators in Paragraph 46.1.8.

7. For Preliminary Review Only: Revision of Marking Size Requirements to be According to Font Size Rather than Fractional Size.

8. For Preliminary Review Only: Revision to the Flash Point Requirements by Additionally Restricting the Use to a Higher Flash Point.

9. For Preliminary Review Only: Modifications to Required Warnings in Supplement SA - High-Pressure Paint Spraying Products.

10. For Preliminary Review Only: Marking Clarification Regarding the Use of the Double-Insulation Symbol.
