The following changes in requirements to the Standard for Pressure Cookers, UL 136, are being proposed:

1. Delete Terminology Related to the Risk of "Fire and Electric Shock"

2. Delete Clogging Reference in Clause 5.1

3. Revise the Cover Opening Test, Section 9

4. Revise the Pressure-Relief Operation Test for Secondary or Emergency Relief Devices, Subsection 8.2

5. Addition of General Statement Related to Undated References to Codes or Standards
